Macedonia's tourism potentials are presented before representatives from over 80 countries taking part at the East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition (EMITT) held in Istanbul, Turkey.
Macedonia's Agency for Promotion and Support of Tourism promoted the nature, culture, and Ottoman monuments in Macedonia, as well as the country's traditions and tourism visits to cities.
Agency representatives met with renowned tour-operators and companies in the tourism sector, such as Pegasus, Istanbul Yildiz, Sesa Travel, Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (Tursab) etc.
Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Nabi Abci and World Tourism Organization Secretary-General Taleb Rifai visited the Macedonian stand and voiced satisfaction from the country's participation at the exhibition.
Tour-operators Badem Tour, Generalturist, Fibula, Balkan Time and Vardar Express are co-exhibitors at the Macedonian stand.
