Series of Earthquakes Shook Southern Parts of Macedonia - Epicenter in Northgreece

At about 2:44 am on Saturday morning in the southern parts of the country earthquake was felt measuring 3 degrees on the Richter scale with an epicenter in Greece.

Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje said that the intensity of the earthquake on the territory of Macedonia was between three and five degrees on the European Macroseismic scale. This is the second earthquake in the past 12 hours with epicenter in Greece which was felt in southeastern Macedonia.

The first was registered  on Friday at 00:12 am with a magnitude of 5.1 degrees according to the Richter scale and was felt in Gevgelija, Bogdanci and Strumica with an intensity of four to five degrees on the European Macroseismic scale.
